What the flock?

UFO? Unidentified Flocking Objects? No, it's a flock of birds I spotted as I walked along the London Road in Bath.

Buzzards? Vultures? Carrion crows circling over the Bath Rugby training ground waiting for a second row forward to expire of his wounds?

No; probably just someone's racing pigeons taking collective exercise on the wing.

What's not apparent from this still is that for a couple of minutes these birds were circling tightly around an invisible central axis that drifted south-west toward the city centre.

Isn't it amazing what we see when we look up?
