Dinnertable Dog

David Beresford's canus africanus or basenji (barkless hunting dog which are reputed to be the forerunners of breeds such as the pharaoh hounds - see http://www.africanis.co.za/ for more info). Such a lovely dinner companion, as was everyone else.
