Birds and Red Westerns

Pelicans, parrots, lori's, birds of prey.. they were all present at the bird zoo. Always a fun day trip. More here.

At night we had a good though quite remarkable night out at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, where we saw the first Russian Red Western from 1924, accompanied by live music from the Metropole Orchestra, composed for this night specifically. Neither red westerns nor orchestras will ever be really my favorites, but this combination was pretty memorable. (Took a few pics, but did not process them yet..)
