Missing the Bus

Up, and to the Bus Station, a light and airy structure compared to the brutalist neoclassical pile it replaced, to support the Bus Protest.

I had offered to record the event with my camera on behalf of the Sixes & Sevens protest organisers. Here we see Lin explaining the issues to a TV camera team reporting on the protest for, I believe, ITN News.

Political representatives were present but sensibly avoided hogging the lime-light as this has been a refreshing example of the whole of an affected community coming together to challenge big business and local government to listen to their voices.

There were also two lonely voices speaking up for their own Nr.4 bus service. BZ!
