a rare opportunity

This is my eldest daughter Nerhys. At the grand old age of 14 she has decided she doesn't like her photo to be taken. This may be slightly incompatible with her desire to get modelling work to help her through university. I have not pointed this out to her. Along with being camera shy she also has developed quite a sarcastic tone. I have no idea where she gets this from.

It's a rare day when she'll let me take a portrait of her. And even rarer when I can catch her without her noticing me taking a picture and ducking. However give her a camera and let her go shopping for a day and she'll come back with loads of pictures of her and various friends in most of the changing rooms in town. As long as it's not her mom taking the picture.
