Mooky

We went to Church this morning and got a nice surprise that Cousin 1 was there (she was meant to be away with other cousins but had come to church instead) so Katie was very excited. It was a slightly different service today that meant the children stayed in for a lot longer, but after the usual 15 minutes I had to take Katie into creche as she was blowing exceptionally loud raspberries, bouncing energetically on my knee and generally not wanting to be sat down! She enjoyed creche, especially when she realised I was staying today.

She ate some lunch during creche so when we set off home, after two streets, she was flat out. She slept for 1hr 1/2 in the cot when we got home too! She wasnt really interested in anything more to eat after sleeping so we headed out to the garden centre. We found some rather pretty little decorations in the sale (final reductions, always good) and a very beautiful print for the kitchen. She ran around the garden figures, waving at all the little animals and stroking several too.

When we came back (after afternoon tea and buying yummy buns to bring home) she made it clear she wanted to stay out, so we got her scramble bug and took her to the village green. Although she decided she wanted to go through the leaves and Mooky wasn't particularly up to that, so got abandoned in favour of running. She went across to see the ducks after a good run round before we headed home, covered in mud and with soggy feet, so a definite good time.

She has been really snuggly since late afternoon, her next two teeth are making moves and I think they're making things a bit miserable for her, she was chewing her fingers like crazy today and this morning was desperately trying to get her whole fist in.

New words today have included robot, block and rock-rock (for the second verse to row the boat) Which she said very loudly in church. Only she says c instead of r
