The National Museum

Today we slept in until about 9 and were slow to get moving. Then we left at about 11 and got on the Tbana to town, where I walked mum carefully through how to get from T-Centralen to the Arlanda Express platform to insure that there would be no repeats of Thursday!
Then we walked to The National Museum, taking a detour through Hötorget just to see what was going on there...
Then we looked around the museum for ages looking at silver things and a bunch of paintings. We didn't realise the time and by 2 we were starving so went in search of food.
Then once we'd eaten we just went back home to start preparing a haggis for the family to try! I'm not sure if they liked it or not... but I did, and there were leftovers for my lunch the next day!
We also made this chocolate mud cake which was so yummy, and J decorated it to make it extra Swedish.
Then we sat at the table and chatted for ages before we went to bed for 4 hours of sleep before mum had to get up to catch her flight.
