Home made bread

I had such a rubbish day today. The weather was lovely and I was stuck indoors all day marking. I've still not finished. It's now 9pm and I've had enough. My brain is fried and I'm getting a bit mean with my marks !

The kids were out and about and at lunchtime, my daughter made this bread (Nigel Slater's lazy loaf). It's delicious. Hubby made some home made vegetable soup to go with it.
