Something fishy

Poor Max was quite ill in the night, a high fever and then he was sick at 3am. We kept him off school but, as is the way with these things, he was fine by 9am and asking if he could be 'blip of the day' with his 'fishy eyes' on.

A good day for me on the photography front - I entered one of my blips (new years day fireworks) in a UAE photographic competition and it won fourth place - the first time I have ever entered a photo competition and am thrilled to be a winner. The prize is a Canon 1000D - not quite as good as my 7D so I'm hoping they'll let me have an alternative prize like a lens.

Oh, and I've just realised this is blip 150. How time flies.
