Popped in to this rather lovely nature reserve today, have meant to on many previous occasions but somehow never have
It often seems strange that this part of Shropshire/North Wales was so full of coal mines, with their passing there is very little sign remaining. This nature reserve was once Ifton colliery and the lump in the photo is the flattened remains of a spoil heap
