leaf in the snow...

can they really have blizzard warnings out? for real? on the day of my mom's surgery? this will be a day to remember...

and in the midst of it all, a lone leaf... hanging out in the newly falling snow. how does that happen? that there are still leaves around - just blowing in the wind, landing in fresh snow... amazing to me... but there it was - waiting for me to blip it, so i did...
