Frosty morning

After yesterday's long walk and the struggle to pick a favourite, today's is really lazy and opportunistic, but for me a wonderful sight. The view from the back of our house, the bathroom window, on a very cold January morning, with mist on the river, smoke from the chimneys and frost on the rooftops. Dawn is just starting to show her rosy face, and the misty river is out of sight, just beyond the houses in the foreground and in front of the houses in the distance. The steam railway runs along side the trees in the middle distance, and the station is just to the left of the picture - I have to climb another flight of stairs to see that. Toot toot!
