Marching on

In this part of Hertfordshire the terrain is pretty flat. Trying to get landscapes with sweeping vistas is difficult; made all the more so by the presence of major roads and other infrastructure.

The sun came out today, which was a welcome site. The sky was pretty cloudless and hazy near the horizon.

Whilst out and about doing the general family type stuff (going to the dump) I saw a footpath leading into a field, where I found these.

In some ways they are majestic, but I think overall they are pretty ugly.
