Home Sweet Home

Oh, another through-the-dirty-window photo, but what a contrast to the desert from the balloon, and the snow in NYC. A FABULOUS trip , made even more memorable and exciting with the revolution added in- our timing was pretty good. But we are happy to be home!
I am hopelessly behind in looking at blips with the bad or nonexistant internet, so will look forward to slowly correcting that this week - it was so heartening to hear from so many people who were concerned and interested to hear we got back safe and sound- and with stories to tell. Thank you. I'll fill in the other blips this week and try to put a few up somewhere else too...need some serious organization time....after some sleep.....

an addition- we took a taxi home from the train to downtown and the driver was from Ethiopia - a very nice guy who said all the African countries, including his own, need new governments because they all are in power way too long. 30 years for Mubarak is too long no matter what.
Some of those ancient pharoahs ruled for a long time- Ramses ll was in power for 67 years!!!
