Thistle Down

Blue Satin Sky

Blue, Satin-Sky...
With white clouds of lace.
Ruffled in beauty,
Reaching out into space.

Capping tall mountains,
Where bold eagles soar.
Where ranges rise up,
And then there are more.

Where the great stretch of distance,
Tints the sky-line in gold.
And gives this far flourish,
Grand sights to behold.

The lake in the sunset,
In elegance is shown.
And is shafted in far distance,
Like a bright sapphire stone.

That is mirrored to vision,
Where reflections all lie.
Catching on to cloud ruffles,
In a Blue Satin-Sky.
