Love is...

...a cow-wow.

The other day I noticed in a field on my route to work some stripey cows, which even I knew weren't native to the Hampshire/Sussex borders. Quite by coincidence, that day Dotty's 'one year ago' blip was of the very same breed. So I now know that they are called Belted Galloways and I popped in for a better look at them on my way home this lunchtime. These two were on the other side of the field to the rest of the small herd. They're lovely beasts with more than a hint of a perm about them. I shall be trying to get a better shot on a day when it isn't grey and drizzly and I don't have to clamber through brambles in my work clothes to get near them. Another pair of tights bites the dust...
