Do have a good day!
This 18th century grave slab is to be found in the tiny kirkyard at the Kirkton of Logie Buchan on the edge of the River Ythan. In those days the messages on Scottish gravestones were pretty much to the point. Besides the Bible, this stone has stark images to remind us of our own mortality; skull, hourglass, mortbell, crossed bones, crossed spades and a coffin. Just in case you still hadn't got the message, the epitaph reads Me Mento Mori which may be freely translated as "Remember that you must die".
