Recently I dug out my very first mp3 player. A classic, a 40gig 2nd generation ipod that cost in the region of £400.

It's white, comes with three games, thick and quite heavy. It's also got a backlight, it can (if you wish) make a clicking noise as you go through the options.

I got this years ago, and about a year before they became popular. I also remember explaining to a dj friend what mp3's were and how it all worked. I remember saying "I reckon they'll be everywhere soon".
Crazy really.

Wished I still had the box for it. I remember throwing it out, just a couple of years ago.

I'd never sell it though.
