The mantlepiece

Not very inspiring but a bit of a rush on! The two end plates were the most complete thing I ever dug up in the garden. They were in pieces and in a pile under about a foot of soil. I stuck them together and filled the remaining spaces. Of all my good condition, blue and white pots these remain special. The two figures are known as Mike and Mary, Mike bought them for me as a present years ago, the old mug was a present from a dear friend and the Minton plate in the centre was from my dearest aunt who died many years ago. There you have it, the story of my mantlepiece!
