Under the bridge

1. It's winter, there's no getting away from it. The wind and rain are lashing against the window when you wake up, it's grey and blustery everywhere you walk, and umbrellas turn inside out at the drop of a hat. It always, always feels good to come inside.

2. Walking home under the underpass and witnessing two guys doing parkour. I didn't watch long but they were brave and having a really good time.

3. Bumping into an old friend on the platform on the way home, both a bit windswept and not expecting to see each other. Both feeling cheerier and all the better for sharing two stops and some blethers.

4. Dinner at Canasta tonight. I will never tire of having a great wee bistro just two minutes walk from my home, in and warm and enjoying great food and chat within half an hour of stepping off the train.

5. There was another photo I had in mind for tonights blip but on closer inspection it was a bit on the rubbish side so instead we took a picture of me looking at pictures. The cat was mooching but missed her close up.
