Fostering Finn - Friends Forever

Finn is staying, he's Speedys dog now, sleeps on his bed and is in his Forever home.

Took me a month to decide he could stay, the rest of the family knew much earlier on and I think a lot of you knew even earlier than that.

For those that don't know the Finn story we took on a foster dog (give me a boy so I'll not want to keep him!) a month ago.

Found in a boarded up house in Dundalk in Ireland, he went from Police pound (they have 5 days then they put them to sleep in Ireland!) to Dundalk Dog Rescue, Dundalk take them for the pound and try and re-home them a few are brought over to Scotland by a friend who finds them agility homes.

I had though it a nice thing to help foster because this is where we got Cara from a year ago.

The day he arrived he was so scared he jumped out my (not as dog proof as I thought) garden and ran away, after a really long stress filled day with so many friends and strangers helping to search for hem he was eventually captured 10 hours later.

He very, very soon discovered we were not scary at all and settled in with us so well that finding a new home ceased to be a priority and the planned litter and puppy from Jura was put on hold to allow the Fantastic Finn McCool from the emerald isle a wee space to sleep on Speedy's bed in Scotland.

There will be many more blips that Finn will appear in, but the title "Fostering Finn" will be dropped as he is no longer a foster dog he is well and truly part of the family.
