Chinatown

Went to Chinatown today. It's a nice change of scenery. You'll never find the following in any other Chicago neighborhood:

Giant $1 bags of fortune cookies
Dried scallops, shark fins, and cow stomach at a candy store
A Hawaiian sushi restaurant
Authentic Chinese herbs and tea
Books on herb remedies (actually, you can find some in Greektown too)
Cooli hats
An entire aisle at a grocery store that's filled with culinary items for sushi preparation
"Female Pleasure" tea -- a tea combination that's supposed to increase pleasure for women -- and many other strange tea selections.

My college is one train stop away from Chinatown, so I'll definitely go down there more often once school starts in two weeks.
