Mimosa - a hopeful sign?

The flowers on this mimosa tree are a bit slower blossom than some others around the village, but I liked the way it was framed behind a garden gate.

I'm still following events in Egypt closely through as many media as I can - I hope that the violence will end and the peaceful protesters of earlier in the week can achieve the democracy they deserve. As always, I find Ahdaf Souief to be an involved, informed and reasoned commentator on matters in her country.
