Gale Force

It's blowing a bloomin' gale out there today.

I ventured out briefly at lunchtime to see my mother. She's 95 and followers of my journal might remember that in October I found her lying on the floor of her house - she'd been there for around four hours. We got her into a geriatric hospital where she's been since then but now it's time for her to leave and have her own room in a nursing home. I think she'll be quite glad to have some personal space back again. She moves tomorrow.
