+ extreme strong wind makes me very nervous - it tends to drop thin but very long branches in my very understanding neighbours' gardens, then i have to go & cut up the branches to get rid of them.

it's a very whippy tree & according to the expert, who thinned it, chipped all the branches & was away in 90 minutes for £900, it is safe - but that was about 4 years ago. i think it needs to be looked at again.

i like the effect of the blowing branches + raindrops on the lense in this exposure.
