Another boring book shot, sorry. ;) I've been uninspired (hence nothing yesterday). This is by Philip Reeve. I read and loved the Mortal Engines series several years ago I think, and though now sometimes I feel it could be a bit more subtle in places I'm still enjoying this new one. He's just really imaginative. And he keeps throwing in references (how about The Mott and Hoople for a pub name?).
