the road to work

So this is the start of my journal. It would be great if every day could have a fun, exciting, happy picture but life is a mixture. My journal is a celebration of life and as such will contain happiness and sorrow, beauty, ugliness, the exciting and the mundane. And what more of a mundane way to start than with the road to work. Though life is also what you make of it and on another day this could be the road to a holiday, a day out, any number of things. My picture is a snapshot in time. Who knows what was happening at this spot hundreds of years ago or what it will be like in hundreds of years time.
