Home to ducks

Wood Duck box behind my house. I hope it has residents this year!

Edit here: The Wood Duck is a small duck, 17-20 inches. The box looks smaller in the photo than it is. The hole for the duck is about 4 inches across. We also have Common Mergansers. They are a bigger duck, 22-27 inches.
The wood duck is very shy and unless I'm in stealth mode, I probably won't be able to get any shots of it. The merganser will nest in boxes too. Don't know if this one would accommodate them or not, (I didn't put it there). I did photograph merganser mama and 10 babies last year on the river.
