Departure!!

Hoorah! So, after our 20hr stay in the airport we finally made it through to the check-in desk. Devastated to find that even when you cross over to the "other side" Burger King was closed and no treat for us!! Met some friends who had also been in the airport (without us realising it) all night and were waiting for the cancelled Malaysian flight! Must say that when other friends told us they had just got into the airport this morning to be on the same flight as us I was not happy about my plan to get there the afternoon before!!

The plane was surprisingly empty, which was great as I was able to stretch out and sleep for most of the journey.

Great seeing mum and happy to be home to rest.
