Broken rose

Another truly awful day so not at all unhappy to be confined to barracks by a sick child. Decided I'd start to learn more about macro on the camera and this was the best of the results - still much to learn but I'm happy with this attempt.

It was a bud which got knocked off before the bunch made it to the vase so popped it into a glass pen holder to show it off. I might even turn this into a time lapse project and blip it again as it opens.
