Good as new

Having a pukey kid in the bed is like sleeping with an unexploded bomb. As if having a wriggly bairn wasn't bad enough. Still, having chucked all over her bed she then had another three bouts in our bed although she at least gave a warning and Mandy was awake enough to get her head over the convenient bucket. It's been a bit of a zombie day as a result, sitting around the house doing a wee bit of work.

Ewan and I headed off to Ikea to copy DrCraig and load up on picture frames. The decision of the day was whether to get Ikea hot dogs or pop across the road to Costco for pizza. We went for the pizza.

Now I have fine prints by Dr Craig, Red and Raheny_Eye gracing the sitting room. Still got a couple to come. Maybe tomorrow I'll paint the wall I have planned for them all. And then go round cadging some more.

The other top news of the day is that I've 'repaired' the scratch on the front element of my 17-50mm lens. Turns out that all you have to do is colour in the scratch with a Sharpie. You'd think that would make things worse but it seems not. Result! On this photo, the scratch would previously have appeared as a black smudge between Ewan's head and the squawking wean. See it?
