Megalithique!

It was my induction day at uni today and look what I found on the campus! I'm pretty sure it's not real...but it was a welcoming sight given the era I'm researching.

I snapped this very quickly when I came across it on a frantic search for some loos at lunchtime and didn't get chance to go up close enough to find out what it was made of or indeed what it was all about. However, I've just done a bit of research and found out that it's one of a variety of contemporary sculptures, prints and paintings have been commissioned and donated to the University over the past five years from local artists and people with links to the University. It's by Beltane Jackson and is called 'Triathlon'.
