Fear makes the wolf bigger.

Britain relies on the cameras far more than other countries, accounting for 20% of all such technology used across the world, despite having just 1% of the globe's population.

Current estimation of CCTV cameras in Public Space Surveillance use is 1.2 million CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) in the United Kingdom, the world record for a camera for every 14 inhabitants.

They are everywhere, In the subway, in the streets, in malls, in public housing but also in convenience stores, before school or at Westminster and even in some pubs.

Result: a British is filmed 300 times each day, on average.
