On the slopes

I didn't manage to take as many pictures as I would've like whilst skiing. For one, I was afraid to take my camera on the slopes! What I found wonderful, though, was the array of colours on display. The skiiers and snowboarders were like peacocks gliding down the slopes... the more brightly decorated, the better.

In contrast against the gleaming white snow (which, incidentally resulted in me getting a burnt face) the displays were spectacular. I love the vividness of this shot. I had a conversation with someone as to whether skiing was the most ridiculously attired sport. He suggested golf, but I think skiing just edges it!
