Gerbera

This is my sad attempt to add to my journal after a week of rushing in and out of hospital visiting the old man as well as coping with the first week back at school for the year. Been a long, hard week and I am feeling exhausted. I hope once he is out of hospital I can resume my journal properly.
This gerbera was in a lovely bunch of flowers given to me on my birthday (which was also this week) by my daughter.
All my lovely family and friends tried hard to make my birthday special despite all the other things going on.
