Peacock Feather

We had a lovely day today! This morning we went and visited Pop and then Nana and then came home for lunch and went next door to see Katie, Damon and the boys.

One of Dad's friend's, Phil, owns a peacock. He has been collecting the tail feathers for a while and this morning he brought about 50 of them over for me to have! Mum and I tried to arrange them in a tail like fashion inside on the floor, but the lighting wasn't very good and it was too wet to go outside to get more light onto them. Dad is going to get some foam from a cool-room wall he has in his shed so that I can poke the feathers into it so they stand up to make a tail!!

I took some shots with my macro lens outside on the concrete path when it wasn't raining focusing on the eye of the feather! I'm sure I will be taking more of them in the future!
