Beef Casserole followed by Spotted Dick & Cust

Okay, the title has absolutely nothing to do with the photo. Its just what we had for tea tonight.

However, before tea, we had a small matter to attend to - that of getting out the house and enjoying some fresh air. Today, the air was very fresh down at Southsea beach with a keen wind blowing on shore. I pulled over to have a look at these guys, clearly making the most of the weather. I couldn't get a decent shot despite trying a few attempts, so they were relegated to my flikr page. Looking in the other direction a couple more crazy guys were getting ready for some fun and games in the surf. I decided on this shot in the end as I liked the action packed poses.

Meanwhile, Oliver was playing tag with the waves and clearly giving them some cheek as the waters receded. He had to move fast quite a few times to avoid getting completely soaked. Emma then had a go as well. I wasn't sure if she was planning a surprise water birth, or was just enjoying the fresh air. I'm not sure if I would fancy giving birth in that cold water!

I couldn't beat them, so joined them, after handing the camera over to Emma. With everyone now having wet shoes, it was time to return to the car and head home to read the Sunday paper and enjoy a warm cup of tea.
