The Women's Room

Super lunch at the Sywell aerodrome near home. This is such a fantastic building. All hangars and main buildings were built in the 30's (I would guess) in art deco style and they have done a wonderful restoration job. Apart from the hangars there is a hotel and a restaurant, the control tower and the offices, even the fuel building, all in art deco. The furniture looks great and you want to stroke all the wood. I did not know which photo to pick but decided on this one because it made me think straight away of Marilyn French's book. If you would like to see some more click here.
