Logie-Durno Kirkyard

A decade or so ago I met two ex soldiers. They were neighbours and best of pals.
One had been a prisoner of war in Italy the other in Scotland. They never told me where they were captured, don't suppose it really matters .................
Today a friend and I chanced upon the grave of one of them while photographing a churchyard.
Herberts resting place is by the black tombstone on the right.
He is beside his Scottish wife.
