Brooding

Sundays are usually spent brooding over what's happened in the previous week and fretting about what may come in the following week....don't know why, that's just the way it's always been...wish it wasn't.

Today we finally made it into Callendar. Third time lucky, as the previous two attempts at visiting had to be abandoned as we couldn't find any parking spaces. This was due to the fact that all the car parks and roadside parking were full of great mounds of snow. Well today the snow had all gone (bar a few very sorry looking dirty piles) so we were able to park and wander around for a while and, as expected, purchase a couple of sales items in one of the numerous outdoor clothing shops. Curious how we seem to buy most of the outdoor clothing at the time of year we go outsie the least.

Spotted this graveyard near the river....never noticed it before, don't know why as it's pretty damn obvious...even has a tourist info board by it.
