Going about town

Well today was a disaster of a day for me. Not only was the weather awful again, not only did my feet freeze without those beautiful stripy socks yday ;o) but my Doctors surgery messed up my travel vaccinations, and my re-registration with them. This usually wouldn't be a problem, but I'm leaving in 3 weeks and a day to go around the world, which left enough time to have them all, with one day to spare.

But......doesn't always happen the way you want and need, I'd checked that I could start my jabs today when I went in last week and the receptionist said everything was fine etc etc they had all the jabs etc etc. Turns out she didn't even know I was in for jabs, only had been booked a 5min appt. and should've filled out a form and given them that form a week before my "appt" anyway- I had to march to a travel clinic to get them done instead on the opposite side of Manchester, a good hour journey away from my Doctors, which wasted SO much time and basically just makes it more difficult even just getting there to get my next few jabs and everything else.........ugh...........However when I'd had them done and was walking back through Manchester I noticed how gorgeous the entry to out Town hall looked, (it has been covered up since november with the fabulous german market) and it made me smile, and instead of being frustrated I just imagined it was the doorway to my house..... hehe.
