Smoke and light

This evening we went to our friend Nathan's 12th birthday party. Lots of fun with obligatory dancing: Nathan has cerbral palsy and is wheelchair-bound, but his favourite thing is music, especially to see others enjoying it. He had some great disco lights and dry ice, shown here. No colour enhancement: this is how it came out. I have to say I stood choking for 10 minutes or so to get the shot.

I had a few to choose from as I also got some close-ups of the lights themselves which were pretty groovy, I'll see if I can link to my Facebook album for rejects...
