Closer to the Heart(h)

Sunday night, all friends gone home, child gone to bed, wife about to, and i'm stoking up the last embers of the weekend before i too fizzle,sputter and fade into the working week.

Weekend was good, i got back in wit da yut if thats how you say it and attended my first concert of the year, i think it is going to be a year of concert going as i think there are at least another five i want to get to before July, and after that who knows... depends on the finances, actually i think it more depends on the knees and the hairline at my advanced time of life.

When i was young and carefree i used to look out for the attractive girls in the crowd, now i look more for how many people look obviously older than i do, and then stand near them in the hope it makes me look much more young and hip.

Presumably if you actually use the word 'hip' it immediately means you aren't, no change there then..
