I don't WANT to go to bed!

After an hour long argument with wee C - 'it's too dark in my room' and 'even if the door's open I still can't see the light' and 'why don't any of the lamps work in my room?' and 'well, WHY can't you change the bulb NOW?', amongst many other attempts to keep the argument going - we left her sniffling to herself in a sulk at the top of the stairs.

I actually thought she'd gone off to her bed at one point, and then forgot about her and got stuck into catching up on American Idol....

About an hour and a half later, I thought I'd better check she was in her bed after all, and only needed to stick my head out of the living room door to see she'd fallen asleep where we left her. Oh dear!
