Razor Clam Shell
Today was one of those days. Just not in the mood to take the camera out. So I ended up hurrying down to the beach to catch the last rays of the sun, scrambling over the giant (rapidly melting) ice slabs to get there. Luckily, there was some really nice, soft warm light, and it lit up this razor clam perfectly.
Otherwise, an excellent day. Liverpool beat Chelsea (!) and I collected over 400 Scrabble points for the first time (a mini-ambition). 465, seeing as you ask. OK, so it was against the computer, which has a huge vocabulary, but not much guile. But progress :)
We are taking a couple of days off work and going skiing tomorrow. It was in the 40s in Boston today, I hope it's not going to be icy.
Oh yes, and Green Bay won the Superbowl. I'm trying hard to be pleased. They are our third team after the Patriots and the Vikings. On second thoughts, if we cheer for the Vikings, shouldn't we hate Green Bay? I'll have to consult the oracle!
