Salute in the snow

Another 21 gun salute today (we've given up wondering what minor royal or public occasion warrants these) and another chance to do a blip of a smokin' gun! Aha - but this time, using my continuous shooting mode, out of about 60 shots, I actually caught the muzzle flash as well as the smoky aftermath. I caught it twice, but this was the more colourful one. Snowing again in Edinburgh. Oh dear.

PS. I didn't blip at all over the weekend. I took some shots on my daughter's camera on Sunday night but when I tried to upload, discovered that the dashed thing had reverted to 1/11/1999 date-wise again, which it seems to every time you take the memory card out and disturb the batteries, so I just couldn't be bothered fixing it all. It was strangely liberating....
