Edinburgh Winter

Edinburgh Town Gaurd 1682- This guy is at the entrance of the Museum part of Canongate Tolbooth built 1591.

They were the First police Force anywhere in UK. They were especialy adept at crowd control, and with a weapon like that I can see why. The were even allowed to decapitate rioters!!

How mankind has changed though not in some countries !!
