Today's the day ........................ that the children came

Day 1 at the Roadshow and a group of 29 seven and eight year old school children came to visit. Now, that number of children in the same place all together could have been a bit chaotic - but this lot were a delight.

They listened to a short talk about the Exhibition and what some of the panels were about. Then they set off to draw something on the one they liked best. They were happy to talk about what they were drawing and it was interesting to see which ones they had chosen.

Their teacher called them all together before they left and just said a few final words. Then they all said to me, "Thank you, Sheila!" in a loud chorus. It really made my day .....................
