Gas flame sculpture

This was created in the 70's during BG days before the many changes that the then 'gas board' went through. Its found at SGN's tradeston offices now. I always thought it was a rather unusual sculpture that reminded me of a maori symbol but on taking the picture today I realised it's a flame. doh..
