On cats

One year ago today, my sweet Siamese cat left us. He was 17.
I've had Siamese since I was 6 years old. (That's a long time).
I don't have one right now, maybe again someday.
We have the 14 year old calico that was my daughters. She decided to stay with us when my daughter left home.
We also have a black long-haired stray that came to stay one year ago when my Siamese died. (I wasn't going to get another cat right away! He chose us).
